Practice / Delivery

Project management

Projects that start for a reason, report honestly, and finish with the benefits someone can point to.

01Situations we are asked about

Sound familiar?

Typical starting points for this practice, in the words leaders often use.

  • Every project is reported green until the week it is late.

  • We start more projects than we can finish.

  • Nobody can tell the board what the portfolio is worth.

  • A key project has stalled and the team has lost confidence.

02The working model

Stage gates, honest status, benefits tracked

A plan people can read in a minute: each stage ends at a gate where the project earns the right to continue, and the work is not finished until the benefits are checked.

  • Diamonds: stage gates with a go, change or stop decision
  • Filled bar: work done to date; the line marks today
  • Benefits are tracked after close, not assumed

03What we do

Services in this practice

01

PMO set-up

A project office that fits the size of your portfolio: intake, prioritisation, templates people will actually use, status reporting and a light governance rhythm.

02

Project recovery

A fast, independent review of a troubled project: what is true, what is recoverable, and a re-plan with clear owners. Where needed we step in to lead the recovery.

03

Portfolio and benefits

Portfolio views that let leaders compare projects on value, risk and capacity, and benefits maps that are tracked after go-live instead of forgotten.

04

Project leadership

An experienced project lead for a site opening, system change, merger or service launch, working inside your team.

Do you issue PRINCE2 or Agile certificates?

No. We apply these methods in your projects and teach the ideas in our workshops. Accredited project management qualifications are listed below and are delivered by CAQA, RTO 45459.

Can you take over a project that is already late?

Yes. Recovery starts with a short independent review so everyone agrees on the facts, followed by a re-plan and, if you want it, a recovery lead.
